Your Right to Opt Out

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1798.100 et seq.), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and other state privacy laws, you have the right to direct businesses not to sell or share your Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.

Our Practices

Marcus Naulin does not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration. In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have not sold Personal Information of any consumer.

We may share the following categories for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes when you have not opted out: identifiers (IP address, mobile advertising identifier) and internet or network activity (page views, click events). Sharing occurs through advertising-platform pixels including Google Ads, Meta, and similar platforms.

How to Opt Out

1. Submit a request. Email contact@marcusnaulin.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" or call (805) 377-5626. Provide your name, email address, and any device or advertising identifier you would like associated with the request.
2. Use Global Privacy Control. We honor GPC browser signals as a request to opt out of sale and sharing for the browser or device sending the signal. Enable GPC through your browser or a privacy extension.
3. Industry tools. Use the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org) and Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) opt-outs to limit interest-based advertising across participating companies.

Authorized Agents

An authorized agent may submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We require: (i) written authorization signed by you, or a power of attorney; and (ii) verification of your identity, including reasonable evidence that you have authorized the agent.

Confirmation and Effect

We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days and will process it within fifteen (15) business days, as required under most state laws. Once processed, you will not see targeted advertising sourced from data we previously shared. You may continue to see advertising not based on your data.

Re-Opt-In

If you opt out and later wish to re-opt-in, contact us using the channels above. We will request affirmative confirmation before resuming sharing.

Non-Discrimination

We will not deny goods or services, charge different prices, provide different quality, or retaliate against you for exercising your right to opt out.

Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information

California residents have a separate right to limit the use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information. We do not use Sensitive Personal Information for any purpose beyond what is reasonably necessary to perform the requested service, comply with law, or detect security incidents and fraud, so no separate opt-out is required.
