Anti-Spam and Email Communications Policy

Statutory Framework

This Anti-Spam and Email Communications Policy ("Policy") is published under and incorporates the requirements of:

• The CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, 15 U.S.C. §§ 7701–7713, and the FTC's CAN-SPAM Rule, 16 C.F.R. Part 316.
• The California Business and Professions Code § 17529 et seq.
• The Washington Commercial Electronic Mail Act, RCW 19.190.
• The Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation ("CASL"), S.C. 2010, c. 23, where applicable to recipients in Canada.
• The General Data Protection Regulation and ePrivacy Directive, where applicable to recipients in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland.

Our Email Practices

1. Truthful header information. The "From," "To," "Reply-To," and routing information identify Marcus Naulin and a domain we own or are authorized to use.
2. Truthful subject lines. Subjects accurately reflect the content of the email.
3. Identification as advertisement. Where required, commercial messages are identified as such.
4. Physical postal address. Every commercial email contains our valid physical postal address.
5. Functional opt-out. Every commercial email contains a functioning opt-out mechanism (unsubscribe link or reply-with-UNSUBSCRIBE option) that operates for at least thirty (30) days after sending.
6. Honor opt-outs within ten (10) business days. We process opt-outs within ten business days of receipt and do not transfer or sell the email address of an unsubscribed recipient.
7. No address harvesting or dictionary attacks. We do not collect email addresses by automated harvesting, scraping, or dictionary-attack methods.

Permission-Based Sending

We send commercial email only to recipients who have provided their email address in connection with an inquiry, application, transaction, or marketing-list opt-in, or where applicable law permits the message under an established business relationship. Where required (e.g., GDPR, CASL), we obtain affirmative express consent before sending and retain records of consent for the period required by applicable law.

Opt-Out Procedure

To opt out of marketing emails, click the unsubscribe link in any message, reply with the word UNSUBSCRIBE, or email contact@marcusnaulin.com with the subject line "Unsubscribe." Transactional or relationship messages reasonably necessary to a specific transaction (e.g., loan-application status, document requests, closing instructions) are excluded from CAN-SPAM's commercial-message rules and may continue absent further restriction.

Reporting Suspected Spoofing

If you receive an email purporting to be from us that you believe is fraudulent or unauthorized, do not click any links or open any attachments. Forward the message with full headers to contact@marcusnaulin.com and to reportfraud.ftc.gov.

Vendor Compliance

We require email-service-provider vendors to certify CAN-SPAM compliance, sender-authentication implementation (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and bounce-management practices that respect recipient preferences and ISP feedback loops.
